A parent sleeping room is located on the sixth floor of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. In addition, all patient rooms have couches that convert into day beds. Showers also are available for parents.
Because space is limited, please plan for only one parent to stay overnight in the hospital. Your child's nurse can provide information about the overnight sleeping policy and the availability of beds for parents whose children are hospitalized.
Although we don't have on-site housing, we do maintain listings of hotel and motel accommodations. For information about hotels, motels and short-term apartment rentals, please visit our campus Housing Office website. A number of guesthouses and motels are located close to the hospital.
Please make your lodging arrangements as far in advance as possible because San Francisco hotels tend to be busy.
If you have any questions, call our Referral Service at (888) 689-UCSF or send an email to email@example.com.
